Quality and inspection

Our commitment to Quality Policies is a shared responsibility. Every employee plays an active role in achieving our quality objectives and ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

A disciplined process

We focus on traceable materials, accurate machining and clear communication so the component supplied is fit for its intended application.

Incoming material

Rods, sheets and resin are checked against the specified grade and accompanied by manufacturer test certificates where applicable. Certificates can be supplied with the order on request.

In-process checks

The first component in a production batch is checked against the drawing before the balance is machined. Critical plastic dimensions are assessed after the part has cooled and stabilised.

Final inspection

Machined components are dimensionally checked before packing. For precision fits, the required tolerance is agreed before manufacture; a dimension report can be supplied when requested with the order.

  • Vernier calipers and micrometers
  • Bore gauges and plug gauges for fit checks
  • Surface plate and height gauge

Traceability

Each order identifies the material grade and batch details needed to trace a component back to its relevant material certificate.

Corrective action

If a part does not meet the agreed requirement, contact us promptly. We review the application and work with you on the appropriate replacement, correction or remanufacture.
